It looks like Alternative Auto found the limit of their engine...

According to MM&FF ( Page 66 ) They "Broke" the motor on the first 1/4 pass...

Old news, it happened about 4-5 months ago

 

Actually, it was in the FEB issue...

 

Yeah, I spoke with Lidio and he said that he was pushing it with a lower octane fuel than he should have, heard it detonate but just kept going. He said he was anxious to get it to the track (Columbus) and didn't get better fuel. Sad it was his own fault and not the motor/sc combo.

 

so how much power was it puttin down?

That article was short and really didnt go much into the details of what happened. What do you want to know about it? Im a good friend of Lidio's both personally and professionally, he does all the work to my fleet of Fords! The Mustang is back together and he is working on some new twists to it. Whatever he comes up with on his will eventually work its way on to mine, the man knows his stuff.

 

 

Of course last year was only like two weeks ago....
