i am pretty sure i am going to get this done, but i am happy with the way the LTs catted x and flowmasters sound, i have not heard another s197 that sounds better than mine yet. im just thinking it might be even better with the h.

Hey CR, don't forget to send me a PM (or email) a few days before you get a car in the shop. I really want to stop down to hear what a GT sounds like with L/T's and a catted X & H pipe. Its what I need to do, to convince myself to get a set for my car. I appreciate the help.

I've heard going with longtubes and an offroad X can get you 20 HP. Based on 8 less RWHP for the H and let's say 5 less RWHP for going with cats, that means getting a catted H-pipe and longtube combo may only give you 7 RWHP? That would be disappointing, I was hoping for at least 15!!

according to Nick at ARH, he says dont be surprised if you see 30-40hp gain with these headers and a really good tune. so if you lose 5hp with an h its really not a big deal

I'll be satisfied with 15-20, so if I really get 30-40, I'll be stoked!

I definitely have my eye on these...

Send your man CR a PM, and he'll let you know what the skinny is on the pricing!

You'll be suprised!

It's all relative...

There are some things in life you can scimp on, but toilet paper and my Mustang are not on that list!

No, I understand. Just wanted to let you know to send him a PM, to see how far off you were with your $1,700.00 estimate.

$1,700?!? I sure hope not! I was figuring more in the $1,400 range (although still a butt load of $$$) for the whole setup.

Hopefully a group buy can be put together that would help everyone out that is interested.

The price will hopefully be under 1400 shipped for the H pipe option. And there will be a savings with the group buy pricing. Nick is out of the office today, so I have to give him a shout tomorrow.

Is that $1400 price for the offroad H-pipe?
