Recently replaced the alternator on my 07 GT. It wasn't completely dead but it wasn't charging fully. Are there places that buy old alternators for the purpose of re-manufacturing them?

I google'd a bit but no luck so far.

 

Yes but don't expect much for it. Standard Mustang cores are probably worth $5 hardly worth the shipping.
