Agent 47 working on CAI
I sent an email to Corey at Agent 47, asking him if he had any plans to build a CAI kit using the air intakes from his brake cooling package. He said he had something in the works, and to check back with him in about a month or so. This is very cool!
My '68 442 W30 had scoops under the bumper and hoses leading to the air cleaner, from the factory. Very cool looking setup.

Hey Jon,
This is way off topic...

The Charger must have a more spirited tune, then, because my Magnum R/T could not keep up with our '05 when it was stock. It was close, but definitely not faster. The cars are pigs, and the gears are very steep. I don't know why DC didn't give customers a choice on that, and there's no aftermarket support. I loved my Magnum, but it was definitely no Mustang. I have not seen a stock LX (barring SRT's) break into 13's, let alone low 13's, which is what the Mustangs run. In fact, I believe Car and Driver got 13.5 out of the SRT-8, if I remember correctly.
In any event, I'll be interested to see this intake.

One of the mags, I think it was either Hot Rod or Car Craft, tested a Mustang and a Charger as part of a "Bullitt reunion". IIRC, it was pretty much a dead heat in the quarter. To me, the Charger feels a little quicker SOTP, but I've not run either the Charger or the Mustang thru the traps.
You're right in that the Mustang does handle much better in tight quarters, and is much easier to mod. The Charger excels on the highway. It's a great touring car.

Guys Remember we are talking about Charger RTs. If you want to compare SRT8s (425+) compare them to the GT500 LOL
300s and Magnums included! I think a mildly modded GT could take them!![Headbang](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/headbang.gif)
BTW RTs cost more than GT Mustangs

I know a stock GT can take a 300 for sure. I missed 3rd from a dig but had a fender on him and his slush box. Missing 3rd didn't really matter though as 60 in a 55 was enough that day.

I don't know what you are saying that the chargers are fast, I raced a couple of them, one stock Daytona and a Modded Daytona.

There's a technique you have to use to launch a Charger. You can't just stomp it when the light turns green. The vehicle stability assist system doesn't like that.
Can we get back on subject now?

Back to topic. I am interested in seeing what Agent 47 comes out with, they do rapid prototyping work, so we should see something soon.
I always wanted them to do a CAI as well as some more spoiler/splitters for the front, rear and sides.
