I haven't done it, but I would guess you are looking at around $5k between the tranny and clutch along with the "extras" that always pop up.
I wouldn't think it would be TOO hard going from 5 speed manual to 6 speed manual as most of the support equipment is already there (clutch quadrant for example). It would probably be quite a bit more difficult and expensive if you are swapping from an auto.
If you can get your hands on the 2007 service DVD, you should be able to dig through the manual for both the GT and the GT500 and see what parts are different. That would at least give you an idea of what will be involved.

D &D has a kit, but not sure if it is worth the effort
D & D performance sells a pretty comprehensive kit for $3999. Requires you to provide your own 26T clutch. Check out this link:

MY only concern is the gear ratios for the six speed. They are 2.97, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, .80, .62.
The stock 5 speed ratios are 3.27 1.98 1.34 1.00 .68
So at 70 mph, you might drop engine speed by 180 RPM, based on 2000 RPM @ 70 MPH. Pretty close with my 05, the Bullitt turns 200 RPM or so more. You will also lose a little off the line, although it may help if you have a traction problem. 2nd, 3rd and 4th offer no real advantage over the current five speed. IF you live someplace where you drive 55 a lot, the .80 fifth gear will give you a little better response/ RPM at a cost in mileage. For me, it would mean an extra gear shift for no real benefit.

Chris at Tillman Speed has a set up for I think 3500. You have to give him a call to make sure what it is. I've been thinking of doing this maybe next year.
