Thanks

They also sell it on CD for around $1400.
Or you can buy it off ebay for about $25. It's only good for 3 months, but you can continue to use it if you set the date back on your computer.

Gee thanks Mongose, that was ever so helpful and informative. Hope I can return the favor some day.

When one ask as many tech. questions as you did we steer them to the area where they can find the answers. We do want to be very helpful in these forums but we are not walking shop manuals.
Wow, you can cut the tension with a knife.
Walking shop manual ... very original.
Yes I don't know much about the 4.6L 3V, and hence the very general query.
Hey, don't be helpful. I often hit the books to respond to a challenging question. Some I can answer off the top of my head based on knowledge and experience, others I know better to do research before commenting, particularly if I have a peice of reference material that help answer someone less knowledgable. Obviously you can't and all you can offer is a glib remark.

I think you are looking for this.

You can purchase your own manual like I did for a little over $200 from HELM.com.

I wish I had an ignore option for the useless posters here. Some one asks a question and he is told to buy the manual what a response I thought we were here to help each other.

Well I eventually got the help I requested and I am appreciative of that. I did a forum search before posting, but could not find anything about the engine clearances as I figured by now this would have come up. Maybe it was just the choice of words. Found a lot about tire clearance, etc..
Great site, great people with a common interest.
