My in-town mileage went down by maybe 2mpg, and my highway went down about that much as well (under normal conservative driving, with an automatic)

I've had the car up to 145+ several times (on dirt) and didn't have any odd vibrations.

90 minutes? The installation on my car at my dealership was estimated and took 10 hours. I was quoted 500 The labor rate at the shop I went to was $50 an hour posted clearly when you walk in. This rate and price are set by ford. Ford has a manual for their mechanics that says how long a certain job takes. No matter how long it acually took, I would still only have to pay the 500. I ended up paying about 550, an extra 50 was for the gasket sealant.

The book says ten hours but they can do it in 4-5 hours. No one can do it in 90 minutes - that time is probably for a pumpkin change only. We agreed on a time (4+ hours) before they did the install and that's about how long it took.

Getting 4.10's put in my auto next week can't wait. I'm paying $578 for parts and labor.

That price is about right - you'll like the 4.10's.

Yes but you can do it yourself with your SCT or Diablo. You don't need a new tune.

Yup. Basically you load your tune like normal but when it says "change opt parameters" hit 'yes' and scroll through till you get to gears and then just change it to whatever you have. After that it will upload the tune as usual.

I believe Tacobill has a sreenshot by screenshot how-to.

Right on Leo..... also you can get step-by-step instructions regarding the end-user parameter adjustments at www.brenspeed.com.
