Will a dealer install these gears? I don't want warranty issues. But I sure would love to get em!

Most aftermaket parts, even when are installed by dealers, are not covered by warranty. You may find a dealer however that will not void a warranty if they do the work, but make sure you get it in writing. I had an some parts installed and though they should have voided the warranty, i got the dealer to agree to not void the warranty if i had them install it. Though it cost a little more it was definately worth it. But the point is, get it in writing if they agree to install parts and not void your warranty.

I had my 3.73s installed at a dealer and it did not void the warranty.... as a matter of fact, it was a warranty repair anyways, becuase I had a bad carrier and bearings in there, and was just short of a complete blown rear end at about 20K miles... it's not going to void your warranty if you have Ford change the gears.... they'll use FRPP anyways.

It all depends on the dealer. My local dealer advised that all warranty work would be declined even if the gears were ordered through them and installed my them. So it depends on the dealer, but I must agree if they say they'll warranty it, best to have it in writing.
