410 are great 430s better thats what i would do if i did it again.
people with 355 dont know the diffrence 410 make !
If you are ever to run slicks you have to have 410s.
Again, for everyday use only, I would stay away from the 4.10's :nono: ...Good Luck !

I would think the 4.10's would be overkill for an everyday driver if that is the case, I would stay with the factory 3.55's, besides this 4.6 doesnt have the low end torque, the power band that counts is in the upper rpm range with this motor..IMO..

That thinking is dead wrong.
The 410s puts it into the power band quicker! :bang:

Not to mention I am goinf to have 35% more power than your 292 rwh 309 rwtq, that is why I think 3.73 will be PLENTY for me.

Again, for street use 3.55's are an excellent ratio, 4.10's are overkill, and you will lose on the top end, really ! Im not making this up lol...

I have had mine to 135 (with 4.10's) and the only thing the car ran out of was road.

Theoretical Top Speed at 6500 rpm in 5th is 189.92mph, 4th is 128.2, 3rd is 97.12, 2nd is 64.1, and first is 37.93.

I would say up the limiter to 6500 with 4.10s so you don't have to shift 3 times before 60 mph, if you care about that.

Yeah, me too. Worst part is the faster the car I buy, the faster it runs out of road.

First of all, why hasn't anyone told him that he's getting hosed paying $600 to have 4.10's installed. It shouldn't cost more than $400 the most!!!!!!
Second, whoever thinks 4.10's are excessive must drive like a ninny! 4.10's by far the best gear to have in this car! When I reach my goal, I will be going back to the 4.10's. Besides, the 4.10's will be better when I have more HP turning them. I've had it up to about 135 mph with no problem. Why would you need more top end than that. I was more scared that the freakin hood was going to rip off than anything else.

It does include the cost of the gears as well.

This is the 3rd quote I've gotten for that exact same price now. Still too high?

You will enjoy the change. It is quicker off the line. 1st gear goes by fast, as to be expected and 2nd chirps real easily. I'm pleased with the 4:10's myself.
Right! Best mod yet.

Install costs seem to vary greatly depending on where you're located. With the gears included and the flash for the speedo, $600 would be a good price here in L.A., if the work is performed by a repudable company.
