I'm wondering the same thing. I have an manual, not an auto though and I'm strongly considering installing 4.10s soon.

Anyone got any feedback for either tranny??

I have the 4.10's along with low profile tires and it's a blast to drive.

Ditto here... auto trans + 4.10s. I've had them for almost 4 months now. I love them. The fun factor is awesome, and you really notice them from 0-60mph... it will plant your butt at WOT. IMO, 4.10 is the perfect gear ratio for this car!!

The only real downside is that you may not want to cruise at 90-100mph for extended periods of time (but I don't do that anyway), and your mileage may take a little hit. I still average 17-18 city and 22-23 on the open road. Good enough for me!

Blast to drive but it will effect your gas mileage. Its worth it to me since I do like to visit the drag strip from time to time.

IMO, if you mod your car for more power and to go very fast and dont race it on the track... youre a wasteful idiot. If you mod your car so you can race it on the street, youre a dangerous mother $%&#ing large guy in Austin Powers and should be shot before you endanger someone elses life. :P Im serious though.

IMO, if you have a muscle car you should have some muscles. :P I'm serious though.

Seriously guy, where do you get off calling a large chunk of the members here "wasteful idiots" or saying they should be shot? You really need to get off your high horse and chill...

Another wasteful idiot here . Thank's for pointing that out. Anyone want to buy all my speed parts. I really want to be smart again.

When somebody considers Austin Powers as their big screen hero, you've gotta consider the source!

Anyway, the 4.10's are prolly the best single mod you'll make on your daily driver and worth every penny IMHO.

I've got 4.10's in my manual GT. Put them in, you won't be sorry. The only downside is my face hurts from smiling so much.

That statement is said without hyperbole. I have 4.10's in my manual transmission GT and love them. I think the Stang should come with em stock! By far my favorite mod until I get some kind of FI.

I am running 4.10's with low profile tires which gives me a 4.26/1 prox and I always have the option to change the tires to standard diameter, but I love the way it is now.
