3500 TC INSTALL

...
Thanks for the feedback...
I did not get a flex plate cause i won't be using nitrous... the plate i'm talking about is the stock plate between TC and transmission it has 8 lugs and nuts and i wanted to know the torque specs for that! My bro put it on anyways and used his own judgement hope it was accurate! He said it bolt on just fine!

never mind my ignorance i got confused with anti balooning and flex plate oh well... any feedback on trans oil?
So how do you replace the trans fluid after you have instaleld a TC? Is it hazardous to put a different brand of ATF in the transmission and mixing it up...? The only thing I can find here is the Amsoil universal... Please enlighten!

I used the standard Motorcraft fluid. I believe all types of fluid mix and will not cause any issue. If I was you I would pull the pan and drain that fluid plus put in a new filter. You fill with a hand powered fluid pump in the side of the transmission until it comes out out the fill plug. Run the car for a few minutes and add fluid if needed. Once it comes out of the fill port on the side of the trans it is full.
