[attachmentid=19272][attachmentid=19269]I had the car dynoed and a custom tune applied. It was about 80 degrees earlier when I dynoed. I couldn't help myself and went with the charge motion plates as well. The IRMC's were worth 6 rwhp/5...rwtq. The dyno chart attached shows Green-my pull from awhile ago. RED-baseline with the headers and exhaust. Blue-IRMC and tweaking the timing. The A/F isn't too bad-low 13's. I wish it could have been a little bit more rich, but I'm happy. I've also learned that there is different kinds of horsepower that can be shown. If you look at my dyno chart in the left column, it shows SAE HP (chart on right). SAE HP is what most magazines show for testing. STD Hp will show higher numbers. On STD hp, my car showed to be 320.5rwhp/334.9rwtq (chart on left). I will be looking over every dyno chart that I've seen floating around to see what Hp they are shown in. I never knew this. If someone wants to slap a small video of my dyno pull on here, let me know. It just shows the pull, but you can really hear the exhaust well. I think I've done all I can as far as perfmance, until they come out with a throttle body and a new MAF. I won't be doing a charger unless I intend to build the bottom end, as well as cams or porting.

Great Number's David, Congrat's!! My number's are also SAE corrected, and you are right, those are the one's that count. What brand of Dyno was it? It look's like our Mod's neted very simuilar result's.

We're neck and neck there Justin! I think I'd exchange my 1 hp for your torque.

Looking around here, I'm finding some people that were dissappointed with their cars output and their charts were in STD, which makes it worse. I can't seem to find some of the charts from awhile ago that different manufacturers posted on here about their product. I like to know comparisons apples for apples.
I'm not sure about the timing. It is a custom 93 octane tune.

I want to talk about improving hp and torque... $tupid money!
Nice pulls, when are we getting a vid of you running 12s at the track?

I have a couple, I just don't know how to post them. I think they are either too big or I'm just not up to par with the computer skills. I also have a small vid of my dyno pull from today which you can really hear the exhaust well.

Just the tune/dyno and IRMC. I had a local fella, Oakes specialized auto do the clutch, diff/4.30's, and exhaust. He's in Boca Raton. He builds a lot of race cars and does really good work. He's also been meeting me at the track for pointers, as well as running his Mustang. I busted the differential, so I figured to get it all done at once, since he had it. The clutch was done before, back a few weeks. He did the exhaust while he waited on the diff to show up. I went to Steeda today just for the tune and dyno, but just had to top it off with the IRMC's. They were worth 6rwhp/6rwtq. There isn't anything else to do. I guess I can only work on my ET's now. All the fun and excitement is going away. j/k. I'll be taking her to the track Friday night. I'm going to have to get used to launching again. I'll have to leave at a lower RPM now.

Well there is always more you can do. Good luck w/ your times. I am still happy w/ the stock set-up for now. I may look into a new muffler set-up. Stainless Works is still a consideration for down the road.

Great numbers David I sure wish I could get away with that exhaust here!
And don't worry about running out of things to do. The new hp/trq numbers will prolly set up new circumstances for added challenge. Puttin it to the ground gets tougher and tougher (and I know you already know it). Looking forward to your new track times and hope it's not crowded on Friday.

Nice numbers!
SAE corrected HP numbers correct the HP to what it would be on an average day (I think this up to the dyno operator to change the settings for his location). STD numbers are not corrected and are usually higher. (if it's cooler than the average temp. there it will probably be significantly higher)
13's A/F is pretty good, you could probably lean it out a little bit more and gain some HP and TQ, though 13's is pretty good.

David,
Excellent numbers Looking at your dyno chart, I do have a couple of observations:
1. I am really impressed with the gain caused by the headers. If you look at the stock headers, they look like they would flow very well. With stock cams, I did not expect to see that big of gain.
2. Your torque curve has the same characteristic rise at about 3200 rpm as I have seen in every other manual '05 dyno run. I always thought it was caused by the IRMC flapper valves opening. Since you eliminated the flappers, something else must cause that rise. Maybe the variable cam is retarding its timing at that point?
3. SAE numbers are the only way to get apples-to-apples. They are the actual numbers corrected to a standard set of atmospheric conditions (barometer, temp, humidity). Without that correction, the guys in Denver or other high altitude locations would be very unhappy.
Keep us posted. Looking forward to you posting new, low times from Moroso.
