It could be more than just 1 code. We've got two '05's here at the house and one is CDC2 and the other is CDC3. Just look at the black pcm mounting bracket on the side for a little white sticker about 1'' long

I have CDC3 and I am wondering if my tuner will work on another car once I return it to stock with a CDC code? Anthony is the CDC2 an auto?

If the car is an 05 GT or V6, the tuner should work.

I don't think that a V6 would have the same PCM code as a V8.

Come on guys. There must be more than just 4 or 5 2005 GT 5 speed manuals here?

No, that is a manual '05 code. My car used to be an auto and it's code was BKT2. My son's manny car is CDC2, my buddy's car is CDC3 and so was my son's last '05 (fell asleep and totalled it)

The tuner won't work on any '05-'06 car or the seller of the hand tuner wouldn't have needed the box code when you originally purchased the tuner.

Keep in mind that the decal on the PCM may not match the strategy code if the dealer has updated it ..... very important if you are looking to use a tuner on a different car.

Good point. Your best bet is to use the calibration ID number.

FYI ... the codes with the highest number on the end are the latest and greatest. So BKT3, CDC3, NER2, etc are at the latest strategy and will not have been updated by the dealer.

Good luck with expecting a response from the OP anytime soon, as his last activity was from 5 years ago... Here's also another heads up, the last activity on this thread was from over 14 years ago

I'm beining to think these bots are getting smarter by the day it's really scary and freaking annoying. There is no way someone can be that, Humm what's a nice word for dumb? That they would reply to a 14 year old thread and expect a response. Do ppl not look at the dates in the top left corner of each response?

Yes! It is very annoying indeed... Just as you said, either certain folks are really that ignorant by not paying close enough attention to the dates of the responses or they are in fact that dumb which I find very difficult to accept
