2005-06 Mustang Gt Muffler Set M-5230-gta*

Does anyone have any sound clips of these mufflers, the FFRP M-5230-GTA. How about pictures?

Do they have any drone? Sound difference compared to the Stock Maunal gt mufflers?

I have had a set on order since July, but they are on back order until mid-September. Probably because they are the ones they used on the Shelby GT-H, and now the Shelby GT. I have heard that they sound slightly more aggressive than stock, with no resonance, and I loved the tips, so I ordered them. I also ordered and installed the FRPP X-Pipe that goes with this set on the Shelby GT-H and Shelby GT.

Did the exhaust note get deeper with that x-pipe? I'm considering leaving the mufflers alone and just changing the x-pipe and putting on the Ford Racing headers.

Yes, the x-pipe did give it a slightly deeper more aggressive sound, but not by much. It is more pronounced at full throttle, but at idle it is barely noticeable.

I'll probably combine that x-pipe with the Ford Racing shorty headers then. I don't want to mess with the mufflers, that would make the car too loud for my tastes. A friend of mine just changed the mufflers out on his car, he put Loudmouths on it. It's way too loud for my liking in everyday driving. Magnaflow wouldn't be too bad, but I'm not sure I want to spend 500 or more on mufflers.
