OMG SLP LT headers rock!!!
I spend the afternoon installing them with a friend who has a lift. Not bad, took us just over 4 hours to do it. PITA is the removal of the header studs.
We did not have to remove the Starter, but did unhook the steering stuff. The short O2 sensor cables extensions would not hook up to the front O2 sensors, but we fixed that and clipped the plastic guides and it matched up fine and no CEL codes. You got to do some zip tying here and there. It fit perfectly. Got a early scare, after removing the old manifolds, the header pipe would not fit on the passenger side at all. The drivers side was fine, come to find out we missed removing a header stud. We got that removed and it was on.
I have done a alot of mods, and only 3 rate the OMG status.
1. CAI and bama chip tune
2. FRPP 4.10's
3. LT Headers and x pipe.
I loaded Dougs upgraded tune before start up. On start up, it was immediate Torque...Low end, asphault grabbing torque. We ran it a while and let it cool and re torqued the header bolts. Driving it was a pure joy.

Wow that's a fast install! Congratulations and good to hear you're satisfied with the mod!
So you installed the X pipe too, right? Catted or not? To your Flowmasters? Sound clips....

with cats, sorry no clips yet. It is a lot louder in the vehicle and when you get on it, it roars. It will make the bowties sit up and take notice. Flows sound good with it. Could not imagine it with Loudmouths.

Bottom end torque....seems like gobs of it. Of course some of it is also my 93 torque tune from Bama.....but I had the same tune before. The LT's really added more bottom end torque.

Cool! Isn't it nice when you make a mod and can REALLY notice a difference? This just made things tougher for me. I'll be buying LTs in about 2 months from now (as soon as finances permit) and I was torn between Stainless Works and Kooks. Now I've got to look as SLP too. Decisions, decisions...
