I'm think I'm ready to go to a 2 stage launch control. For those that don't know, it allows you to launch the car with a trigger. You step on the gas, pull the trigger and it automatically sets the rpm's at a predetermined setting. Let the trigger go and off you go. If you've ever seen a video of some of those 10 and 11 second cars, you hear them at the launch sounding different than just a solid rpm rev. Just fishing for info if anyone has any.

its illegal in most classes, its called a 2 step, its nothing more than a rev limiter

I bet it sure is fun running with one though. I will have to consult with the rule books that may apply to me. Kindof like a gun. bah bah bah bah-launch! I know that may look silly, but I was just imagining it.

 

I had one in my Road Runner........it's awsume and launchs like a clutch car(almost).It's a bit tricky though if you've never used one.A whole new ball game in RT's.

But if I know you 169stang,you'll get used to it quick.....and you'll be lovin it!

If it's illegal in class racing, I most likely won't be using it. I still need to fine tune my driving skills before I target a racing format. Right now, I'm just enjoying it all. A 2 stage just sounded like something else fun to have!
