repurpose 12.4" front brakes to the rear..

hello.
if someone does a 14" brake upgrade upfront, can they repurpose the 12.4" stock brakes for the rear?

usually the main issue with rear brakes is the locating the emergency brake, with that said if you want to eliminate the emergency brake you could probebly use the front brakes on the rear.
