Uptight? I am anything but uptight. This is simple Golden Rule kind of stuff here. What relationship does uptight have with such a simple question of right and wrong. It's not like this situation poses a complex moral dilemma. This is simple and if more people were candid and clear with this individual and others when confronted with questions like this perhaps the world would be a better place.
Perhaps because what is "right" to some people, is not "right" to other people, and the same for "wrong".

Kind of like opinions, you understand what opinions are right, like the one you are giving right now.

The right thing to do is sell it to me for a steep discount

I'm still looking for a nice exhaust after the Mrs. made me take of the SLP Loudmouths

I would have liked to but I think you'll need to chase down the FedEx guy to get them. I wonder how much the shipping would have been to GB?

I notified them and they confirmed almost two weeks ago. Wonder why it took them this long to mail me a return slip. They certainly were not in any hurry while they were taking up room in my garage.

Just call them up and have them pay for the shipping to send them back. Do the right thing.

You question the person's age, tell him that "people like him make you sick", and blame the world being screwed up on him....and say you are not uptight? Trust me, that is being uptight.

Truth of the matter is, this exact scenario has been brought up an uncountable number of times on an uncountable number of forums. And every single time it gets the the exact same responses. Overwhelming majority will say that in their opinion the item in question should be sent back, a few will say the company screwed up and the individual is not responsible for their mistake, and no one knows either way what the people giving the answers would actually do if they were in the situation. Then there is always the one person that wants to make everyone believe that they are the definition of morality and good and jump the persons case. And that is what your response represented.

Tell ya what, convence me that you have NEVER eaten a grape from the produce section of the grocery store and not offered to pay for it when you got up to the check out counter. Or have NEVER returned home from buying something and noticed that you were given too much change and didn't take it back, or have NEVER ( I could come up with plenty of scenarios, but you get the point ). You convence me of that, and I will accept whole heartedly your response to the original post. Until then, my opinion stays the same, you are uptight.
