17" to 18" stock strut/springs/shocks What are the differences?

This question has been asked several times and still no definitive answer.

What is the changes to the struts/springs/shocks between the stock 17" and stock 18" stangs coming directly from the factory?

Are there different part numbers called out? Do the springs have a different spring rate and what are the values?

If there are changes, shouldn't the part numbers be different?

Any help on this from Ford rep would be great. Local dealer says absolutely no difference at all.

According to an earlier post from a Ford Engineer for the 18's there is a unique shock, sway bar and steering rack.
