I wasnt trying to state it was true, I was saying that it may be true. We will just have to see if the theory was right or wrong when he(2007torchred) goes to the racetrack and crosses in 3rd.

went to the track last tuesday- my third day out, best I managed was 13.78(bone stock stick-full tank of gas), another guy came out for his first time(stick-wms intake/tune) and ran a 13.44 with TCS on...I really think cai/tune/drag radials would get you close, add a set of gears and hang on
I think stock tires would be limiting factor for most drivers to get 12's- unless you can really do some majic with the clutch, but Im sure theres guys(and gals) out there that can do it- probably hard as heck on the clutch though...getting full power thru stock tires in first gear for that all important first 20 feet is the hard part...3.73/4.10 would quicken things up a bit, but launching clean will be even harder, plus you gotta grab 4th...I want to pickup a set of drag radials just to see what I can do bone stock with my sloppy launches...have heard the sticks can get 13.6 stock, but not me yet...but I'm guessing most drivers could get .3 with tires alone
