Hey, Thanks for the info. Is it possible to put a K&N fliter instead of the paper one? Would it alter the praformance hence a new tune? I like the look of the blue or red intake filters better and i dont have to buy a new filter every time i get a oil change I just have to recharge it. Is it possible?

I haven't seen anyone swap the bullitt filter for a k&n but I'm sure if you can find one to fit it would be fine.
Word of caution though, if any of that filter oil gets on the maf you will have issues.

You will not need a retune for a k&n either.

Yes you can back when I use to run a bullitt intake I used one, the part number is rf-1027, perfect fit

Are fiters that use oil better or dry ones? Do you recomend any brand of filters like K&N filters?

Those 2 baffles are just there for sound and not performance.

An aftermarket tune can give you more than the factory bullitt tune as well (I'm sure you already know that).
I have the FRPP bullitt intake on my car and a 91 race tune from Bama and it is definitely a difference you can feel.

I saw that you're running the Bullitt intake with the Bama tune. I'm about to swap my JLT intake for a Bullitt and now I have to work with AmericanMuscle since they acquired BamaChips and offer 'free tunes for life' since they grandfathered in Bama customers. Did you work with them or was it before Bama was acquired by them?

So, guys who have had this intake for a while, what filter are you using for a replacement? Are you doing a Ford paper or a K&N?

I bought an extra FRPP paper on sale. And wash the other with K&N cleaning fluid & water and let it dry.
I don't want to mess with the oil on the K&N myself.

I'm at 15k.
