That is a sick video. I don't think the 05 was pulling ahead in the end, I think the cobra just ran out of gear. These cars are definately meant for the 0-60mph run. I would be scared to race something like a supped up RX-7 at those speeds, prolly beat me with no problem.

 

Wow ..I am suprised the 05 did so well, it stayed right in there and pulled away in the end...

I do not agree with street racing . . . . . but . . . .

I am surprised with the result. Considering the mods, I would have expected 1. )the '99 Cobra, 2.) the Lightning and 3.) the '05 Mustang . . . . who knew

They make aftermarket MAF sensors for the 05? Also, without a tune, the car isn't making much power over stock.
