little to scary for me.... I'm a firm believer in nitrous....use it to go tens w/ my 92...but what scares me is the plastic intake.......kaboom
blew my 99 gt intake into about 1000 pieces....suposedly fail safe direct port kit...
didn't work too well

Yeah, the intake is the only thing that was damaged...blew apart at top where the C&L elbow was mounted...thankfully.
I found an intake on ebay for 200. put it on, got rid of the nitrous and traded it in on my F250 Diesel 4X4....which in turn I traded for my 05.
Plastic intakes are not forgiving. I've had two back fires on my 92. The first one blew out the throttle body after I let off the gas and folded the butterfly backwards...was a simple fix, at least it didn't blow the intake up....and one time I blew the air box into a million pieces.
-2 times out of 5 years of spraying isn't bad...but that's the chance you'll take w/ a plastic intake, it only takes one backfire to destroy them.

Two times in five years is too much for me since I'd be walking to work.
