05-08 Mustang Hurst Shifter T-handle

Guys, I am going to be installing the Hurst Comp. Shifter on my 05 GT and would like to know if anyone who has this shifter installed is running the T-Handle that HURST makes for this shifter assembly?? If so, would you please be kind enough to post up some pics so i can see how it looks before i go ahead and purchase it.

If this has been asked already, Mods please delete this thread!

I have one installed on the MGW shifter... got the handle through Jegs. I'll post a pic tonight but I like it. The handle plus the MGW shifter makes me so much more confident when I'm shifting the car during "spirited" driving.

I'd like to see that pic. I wanted to install the T-handle on my Hurst when I installed it but my local performance shop didn't have the right sized thread for the stick so I never worried about it, but I do think it would be cool.

Interesting. I put one on my Hurst, which took me back to my ride in the 70s, but I found it actually HURT spirited driving or at the track. I could never find just the right angle that worked for me. Once I put the white ball back on it worked fine.

Different strokes I guess...

Here you go. Since this picture I've added the T-handle with the button for my line locks. Love the old school looks and feel of it.

That handle looks taller than the one that comes with the comp plus shifter. Is it a different one? But it does look killer!!!

Yeah I agree. That picture is making me want to get one of those taller sticks. I've always wanted something a little taller than the regualr Hurst shifter for the GT. Where did you get that? And does it simply bolt in to the same holes as the smaller stick?

I have the triax shifter....I found the stick at Jegs I might be able to post the part number after looking through my reciepts.
It bolts right up to the triax so I wouldnt see why it would not bolt up to the hurst shifter. If the hursts where out when I bought my shifter I would have gotten that because I've had to rebuild my triax to keep it from rattling.

I personally love the look and feel. For some it's not going to be their taste and that's fine. but it's got that old school look to it.

I'm looking for a inexpensive shifter stick that will take the hurst t-handle for 2007 gt and I will also need the boot to match the shape of the stick if anyone can help me.

Thanks Randy
