Stripe Decision
I'll be picking up my Legend Lime Green GT Vert any day now and have been stuck on painting black shelby style stripes on it. I had really hoped that Ford would produce a white top and interior for that classic look, but I had to settle with black.
So the question is: Should I consider white stripes with the black top?
I've attached a hacked pic of the scenario...

Thanks. That's kinda what I was thinking too, but have been stuck on reproducing the old 68 GT500 Shelby look. Ducktail, side spoilers and maybe a custom hood, since I haven't seen the 68 style out there yet. Or maybe I'll just replace the top to get there?
certainly not the worst combo i've seen on that stripe painter, but i agree - the white is too much of a contrast. If you got more of a matte finish (I prefer gloss on the coupes), I bet it'd blend in real nice with the soft black of the top
I'm inclined to believe the black stripes would compliment the top and presumably the interior color better. IndyStang is right; dark green would be a classy approach. However, I don't think you can go wrong with black. White with green and black is a bit much. Too busy for the eyes... like my posts!
Hope I see your car on the roads in my travels this summer. Delaware, eh? Cool!

You have to keep the theme running so if you have a black top, you need black stripes (even though I don't think I would stripe the green the same as everybody is doing. Maybe something a little different.) JMO
