I picked up a 2000 marquis a few yrs ago for a winter beater, its looking kinda rough now, but 2 kids did their first driving in it, and its a tank in the snow...plus all 6 of us can cram in if we need to... when I got it, it was like new, think the thing was only 2500 bucks, replaced a ac compressor bearing and a pittman arm to date- like 75 bucks? been a great car, but blistering up with rust everywhere this spring.

I seriously think I may look for a western one to caravan home with next trip out west to see my parents, they are reliable old tanks, dirt cheep- just ohio salt eats the frames/body up... I havent driven my 06 in salt yet, hope to never, and its almost like new underneath, except for axle-driveshaft surface rust, and of course, exhaust discoloration
