Raced a WRX this weekend and...

I got smoked in front of a big crowd of my friends. My fault of course, i was soo excited i left the traction control on. I dumped the clutch and she bogged down real bad, the rex got a great jump as expected and was gone. The wrx was not a sti but was modded. From the look of it, i would have to get a great jump to even beat him.
I have no engine mods yet.

dont worry. i raced a wrx STI with a intake, tune, o/r h pipe and 4.10 gears and smoked him pretty bad. it was on the highway with no one around and we started at about 65mph. i dropped to third and redlined 3rd and 4th shifting into 5th. he had no chance. now that i got the Kenne Bell Supercharger installed they are no problem

From a dig, the AWD is a huge advantage. Next time, try from a roll.
