My 07 GT vs 45th anniversary SS

Ok so I figure I have little to no chance on this but a co worker has been asking when we are gonna run them so I figured why not. My GT has cai and tune with 20" wheels and 285 rear tires and a 5 speed. The ss is stock and 6 speed. The guy hasn't ran his Camaro at the track yet but had a 2011 ss that he ran a few times 4 years ago. I haven't ran my GT at the track since I bought it but have more practice than he has on my other cars over the years. I also have LCAs but not installed yet and have a Hurst competition plus installed. My question is what do you guys think would happen? I figure I can get them off the line easily but he will catch up quickly especially if my shifter locks out 3rd which I hear is common. Should I install my stock shifter, the LCAs, and stock 18s with Pirelli 245s? Thanks

Don't run the Camaro with the mods you have. It will beat you by 3-6 tenths of a second in the quarter mile. It would be closer if you had long tube headers and 'maybe' some 18" or 19" wheels and tires
