Stories like this are common amongst the skilled track drivers I talk to. The same can be said for drivers that don't know how to race their own cars. About anything is possible on the street but their is a HUGE difference between knowing to drive your car and knowing how to race it. Obviously her "hubby" isn't the greatest driver in the world, it's just that the Cobra driver must have stinked donkey ***** to blow that race.

Actually, t60r00p69...My husband is an excellent driver... best in the world? No. Would I let him try it again in my car? heck yes. First of all, because he is an excellent driver, and secondly because he bought her for me!

No matter if it was a clone or not, he lost his butt. Was he a good driver in a bad clone?? I highly doubt it. Was he a bad driver in a Cobra. ITS POSSIBLE. Was he a good driver in a clone? Eh, thats possible too. We all know that if he was a good driver in a 04 Cobra, I wouldnt have posted this...

We can speculate all day long on the other driver. He hasnt visited the site, and I doubt if he does he will sound off in this thread. The bottom line is, my hubby smoked an 04 Ford vehicle that could have been a Cobra. Made this girl proud of her man, and proud of her car.

Congratulations on the victory! I'm sure it's possible but not by the margin stated unless he really wasn't racing. I suggest not picking on Cobra's though because you will get a reality check .
(BTW, I do think the '05's are awesome)
