Modded 05GT vs Stock 2010 Track Pack
Your Advantages:
1.) You removed the front sway and your weight transfer off the line was probably better as his Track Pak has stiffer springs.
2.) You obviously had this same car at the track before.
Disadvantages:
1.) Your 20s.
2.) Gears. If you had 3.73s you would gain about .2 in the 1/4.
My car is a combo of both of yours. I have a very stiff, track type setup, but I have 3.73s with LCAs and relocation brackets. I can pull a 2.0 60' all day and I run consistent 13.60s. On my best day I pulled a 1.88 60' and turned a 13.19 in the 1/4.
Tell your buddy to shift at 5900 RPM and go out the back door in 4th. Also, run your front tires at MAX pressure. Seems counter intuitive, but it shaved about .200 for me. I tried running out the back in 3rd with the clutch in after shifting at 6100 between gears and it didn't work.
Also, doing a LONG burnout will help immensely. I had someone show me a proper burnout and I can leave the line a full 1500RPM higher when they are all hot and sticky. I also ran Eagle F1 A/S tires last time, so some track tires would probably allow me to dip into the high 12s.

So what do you think going to 4.10's would do?
My mod plan for spring is UDP's, CMDP's, LCA's, and 4.10's, assuming I'm still employed and money allows.
Edit: also plan on removing my MM system and going back to OR-H and stock muffs.

4.10's? Invest in some drag radials. Wow those times of his were alot slower thatn what I would have expected. Whats the elevation there? What were his 60' times as well. I still think even if both of you launched perfectly you'd still beat him but that was pretty bad. What the hell did he do to get 15's?
the speeds tell the story and take out driver inexperience. The 05 had the 10 covered by 3 mph... Def win for the 05.
I'd say the driver won this race, not the car. You should have seen if the driver of the '10 would have been willing to switch cars for a couple of passes. I'd venture a guess you would have beaten him driving his own car. How much experience did the other driver have? What your 60' times vs his?
Trapping at 105-106, you easily have a high 12 sec car with a drag tire. The o/r H definately helps.
I havent updated my sig, but with the the H, I'm at 310hp 323tq. Next track day is Dec 5th, so I'm hoping to trap where you're at. In the 106's at least, and a high 12.
