I may get one. I have to buy a company car and they require that it be a 4 door and a domestic brand. My only other choice is an SUV like the Explorer or Expedition.

The charger is a big and roomy sports sedan. It also rides and drive good. In my opinion, this is the hottest 4 door out ther under 50K...

I would love to own the Charger and the Mustang... Best of both worlds....

P.S. I like the looks, but think it will sell better if it had been given a different name plate...

If i had funds, i would definately get the Hemi Charger for the family sedan. Sat in the Yellow one at the NY Auto show and i liked the car. Saw the GTO and didn't even sit in it....ugly as sin. The GTO reminds me of a girl with a nice body but has looks that would stop a train.....fun to ride but not to be caught with.

I like the SRT-8, but 14 MPG? And why did they have to make it a 4 door. Some of the old ones weren't 4 foor right? I'll keep my GT thanks.

I killed a new Orange Charger Daytona R/T on 95 and the 695 Beltway around Baltimore last weekend. The guy was driving with his wife and we were having just a little fun.

I thought you were talking about a real Hemi Charger!

My brother had one of these for years.
His was an ugly green. Blew the doors off most everything he raced.
My personal Mopar favorites were the '70 and '71 Challengers and Cudas. Be interesting to see what Dodge does with the "new" Challenger.

Agreed, they shouldn't have called it a Charger.

Nice kill, btw...=)

Is it true that none of the Charger trims come with manual transmission?

The guy that works at the store next to me has a Hemi Charger and we raced the other day to about 80 mph. I beat him but he was at back fender. I spun some at first and he actually pulled about 5 feet ahead of me. He went to the track a couple of days ago and ran a 9.2 1/8th mile at 76 mph. I'm guessing that would put me in the 9 second range.

My friend has a Neon SRT-4 and ran a 8.8 in the 1/8th a week ago. I beat him really bad when we raced a few months ago to 100 mph but he's added a boost controller and a few other things. He wants to race again but I'm thinking maybe I should wait until I get a tune and cai.

ill race that srt for ya...i hate them sooo much. poo, ill let him have a full stage 2 with the works and its still over

Cool pic, Stephon!! Put some slicks on it, and it'd probably pull that left wheel!!!

Yep. None of the LX platform cars come with MT as an option.
It really is a shame, but it kinda makes sense since none of them are really sporty cars (too darn heavy).
