Love them both but I think the XKR-S gets my vote this time around.

 

I think the Aston looks better, but the jag isn't far behind.

 

They are both great, but I can't deny the Aston a win here. Its not that the Jag is bad, its just not as stunning. I dont like the way the front valence turned out on it. I'm hardpressed to find flaws like that in the Aston

 

Aston for me too. I like em both, but the tiebreaker was styling, and thats a contest that aston martin never loses.

 

Aston..but the jag would make a nicce beater

I would say the Aston by a touch, mainly because of its V12.

But the Jag is mighty fine in its own right. Pulled up to a gas station and a black Jag coupe was also filling up and it was, as their ads say, gorgeous.

Sorry, the new XKR does nothing for me. It looks like the bastard baby of a DB7 and a Mazda MX-5. I so much more prefer the previous XKR.

 

aston all the way the jag just looks like an attempt at the aston design although I still love it you gotta side with the original hall of famer

 

Actually, IIRC, both the Aston and the Jag were penned by the same designer, so perhaps it's less a case of the Jag trying simply to ape the Aston's lines than it is in actually sharing the same aesthetic DNA.

 

I read this in a magazine once in a comparo of the Trans -Am vs. Camaro and thought it fit here better
