Challenger Vs. Camaro
I can't see how anyone can say that the concept Camaro looks anything like the original. The front and rear are totally different. The new one looks like rice, IMO.
Here's the real deal, from about the same angle and color as the concept.

I was just thinking the same thing when I voted for the Dodge.

Umm... it isn't supposed to look like the original. It's a "modern interpretation" -- just taking styling cues from it. You know, just like the Mustang -- which looks as much like the original as the Camaro concept looks like it's original.
While I like the Challenger, I personally think it looks too much like the original -- nothing new or creative about it. And, while the nose of the Camaro could use some work, I like the rest of it.
Between these two, I would take the Camaro on expected performance/price alone. It should be a lot lighter, and with the 400hp engine, should be a ton of fun to drive. Even though it won't look like the concept, and may not even be produced.
In short, I hope Ford does something even better with the '09 than either of these.

The dead front end view of the Camaro to me isn't that cool, but from this above angle it looks awesome. I like the Challenger quite well also. These are both very worthy competitors for the Mustang and I fear that we'll have a replay of what we've seen in the past. These cars will not outsell the Mustang, but both companies have bigger guns in their arsenols. Ford better bring along the 5.4 and the 6.1 quickly. I fear our lunches are about to be eaten (excluding GT500 of course).

Remember what happened a long time ago when the 428 Cobra Jet debuted in 1968, well Ford should do it again with the 6.1L like you said. Bring it on!!!!!
Another thing, take a vote out of the Challenger and put it in the Camaro. Back shot (Motor Trend) is hideous.
