As to arguing that the Veyron can't corner? Nonsense. It corners as well as ANY car doing 255 MPH. Oh wait, there IS no other car that can do 255 MPH.

The point being that at "normal" speeds, the Veyron can corner with the best of them.
Since none of us has ever or will ever drive one we have to go on what the reviews say. And what the reviews effectively say is that the Veyron corners surprisingly well for a car with so many straight line speed compromises. Even the designer of the McLaren F1, who said that had he the money he might buy one, pointed out that the only really amazing part of the Veyron was the massive acceleration and top end speed and that this was the only reason to want one.

Of course, to get that you have to be willing to drop a cool million on a car that looks like a blowfish that has been sucking on a lemon and which isn't as well rounded as as slew of other supercars. All this for a car which reaches an even higher top speed than all the other supercars with inaccessible top speeds. This is a car for well to do bench racers and people enchanted by spec sheets.
