The lap times really told the story with the Porsche clocking in at 2:02.1, the Z06 right on its tail at 2:02.02 and the GT-R well ahead at 1:56.9.

 

If I had the GT-R I'd have to leave it at the track and drive the others home because I wouldn't want to be seen driving that ugly a$$ catfish home.

 

Huh... can they try it again with all the electronic doodads and drivers aids disabled?

 

Z06, no question for me. The GT-R looks like $h!t, and the 911's got an engine in the rear. besides the Z06 can get like 25mpg!

 

I thought 2:02.01 was faster than 2:02.2

 

Yes, significant figures applies as much after high school as it does during.

.1 is a longer time period than .02 so sorry Beetle Boys, the Vette is faster.

Wish I could call my quarter mile time 13.02 instead of 13.20!

 

Wowzah, that GT-R really smoked them, over 5 seconds a lap faster than the almighty Z06! That's forever and a day on a race track.

Maybe, given its looks, its a good thing it's so fast so that nobody will have to see it for long.

Subjectively, I think I'd take the roaring Vette or, given a double lotto ticket winnings, the Porche.

But gotta respect the GT-R's objective capabilities.

 

I'd like to see what the layout of they track they tested looked like. Im guessing its a slow, losta corner type of place. The Vette's one bad area is cornering.
