with the markups on GT500, the price is near the same....

but again...the 911 looks so BLAH....GT500 still wins in that its a SOULFUL car...

Well that time really is way off base from what owners and MM&FF got. They got a 12.2 and most owners are seeing mid to high 12's. It is hard to trust magazine times cause they generally don't push the car to its limits and a lot fo them don't even go to the track. They just use timing equipment and take off in an empty parking lot.

You seem to do these flat comparisons of simple HP vs HP in different cars when there is so much more involved

Like:

Porsche curb weight: 3,300+ lbs

GT500 curb weight: 4,000+lbs

Thank you! this is exactly why the GT500 is NOT a sports car and the Porsche IS. You think this may have something to do with the superior braking times??
