2005 Mustang GT vs. PT Cruiser GT

I am not going to be able to post them until I get home, my camera phone doesn't take well enough pictures to post them.
Here are the times for the two races that we did...
Race 1:
Me: 1/8 - 8.920 @ 81.96 mph
Him: 1/8 - 10.649 @ 67.90 mph
Race 2:
Me: 1/8 - 8.670 @ 82.40 mph (my current best
)
Him: 1/8 - 10.115 @ 68.75 mph
I also had a run (my first of the night) - 9.295 @ 79.78 mph.
He was a good sport about it. He said it was his first time at the track in about 3 years. And I believed him. He had some trouble at the start line. But fun times all around.

In my opinion, these cars look way too much like a hearse. See attachments for proof. And don't even get me started on the convertibles. Those are just hideous. Really one of the more awkward and embarassing designs out there. They look like bathtubs on wheels.
But that is cool that you guys can make them fast and I am glad everyone has different tastes, otherwise we'd all be driving the same cars and it would be boring as hell.

my wife says the same thing...i'm not to crazy about the convertibles either...

i haven't been on this thread for a while and i have to say thanks rebel73, i will take that as a big compliment because i loved the stuff zztop came out with for custom cars. i am happy the two guys raced in the end and congrat's to your win freebass55, it is close to exactly how i thought it would turn out. i look forward to next race season for us here in vancouver b.c. canada. if there are any mustang owners on this site from vancouver and love to drag race, i would love to meet some of you guys. cheers

It looks like you guys need to take it to a 1/4 track now to bump up the fun factor!

wow, thats an *** woopen if i've ever seen one, and thanks galaxie for pointing me in the direction of the local guys on your site and i do appriciate the comments back about keeping things real, threads like this are helpful if people don't tell each other off. i see both sides of the coin in every situation, everybody has there own opinion of what they like and dislike, but it is how you exspress it . you guy's have a great forum here and i will be jumping on and off it checking it out. cheers mike
