I'm sad to say most of my friends are in the import crowd, GTIs, 350Zs and so on its seems to me these cars are quick but dont have the low end power of a mustang. they will typicaly outhandle a mustang but in a drag race they have no chance. My friend's $36,000 350Z with 315hp can barly take my 97 (slow) GT and he has no chance wth the 03' so in a drag race i think your in good shape. Bottom line seems to be 6 bangers dont have the low end power and i think the VW is a FWD too which hurts it more

 

I ran one on a "track" and he saw nuttin but taillights.. It was probably stock and I got him out of the hole bigtime and he couldn't catch up..
