My '68 GT without A/C taught me a very valuable lesson: in the winter it was like a perfumed lusting mistress, in the summer it was a nagging wife without any life insurance.
As a toy, I would take the Cobra R hands down. But in reality the A/C'd '04 wins.

Kenne Bell 04 - 686rwhp
Blown 00- 585rwhp
How exactly do you get those numbers?
Now I am not a rocket scientist, and I don't play one on tv, but if the cars have the same basic engine design, (modular V8 with same overhead design) doesn't it make sense that the car with the bigger displacement make more potential power?

Yeah, that's the exact same thing you said the first time. Where are you getting those numbers. Those numbers don't make sense.

. . . but . . there have been a couple of guys who have supercharged their '00 R's and I think Doug is pretty close on the numbers. There have also been a few to turbo an '00 R, but I have no idea on those numbers . . . . I'll see if I can dig something up . . .

'04 Cobra - s/c 4.6L - 390 hp
'00 Cobra R - n/a 5.4L - 385 hp
Take the blower off the Cobra and its making quite a bit less than the Cobra R, so I am not understanding why if you put a supercharger on both, how the Cobra would pass the Cobra R.
