Like the dynamics of the BMW but not the looks. 5.0 Mustang.

That's a tough one, especially given no one's actually driven the 5.0 yet. I might say the Bimmer is the better overall car, but that the 5.0 will be faster in a straight line and a better value. Both are excellent cars and what's the better car probably has more to do with what one's looking for than anything else.

Can't I just have both?

Hands down the BMW. The Mustang is great and with the 5.0 it's world class, but they are different breads. The BMW will offer a driver a much more rewarding driving experience.

BMW 335 just seems so pedestrian. I know that sounds crazy but when I see a 3 series BMW, unless its a M3, I just feel nothing. I don't care about it and don't want to. But a 5.0 just makes me smile at the thought of it. The 335i may be the greatest car for the $, but the Mustang has a soul.

It can be spruced up a bit, but I''m talking about straight from the factory

Voted for the GT, but like with the M3 I think we're talking about two cars built for two different purposes.

You can probably get 3 repairs on a Mustang for the cost of one on the bimmer

X2
I'm sure the fit finish etc is far superior on the bimmer but I'll not take one over a Mustang.
