Overall, the '06 is clearly the better car, with perhaps the exception of the motor.
Now, of course, which one you'd want more is a much more difficult and subjective question...

I dunno about that, the Mach motors are fine pieces indeed, but the 3v 4.6 is a nice motor as well in comparison. It is lighter than its 4v brethern and makes nearly the same power. Could the 3v 4.6 have been better???? I suppose so, but it seems Ford has some sort of mandate concerning which octane fuel should be used on a regular basis. Had the 3v been tuned for use exclusively on premium and the motor designed to take advantage of it (higher compression) the 3v would have definitevly been the better motor.

i agree....the very least it would be pumping 350HP

Well I ordered a CS/GT last year and dealer sold the car I waited for to come in, Yeah I was ****ed, That week I found a 2004 Mach1, I love it, but I also love the new ones. Heres mine..
