06 Charger or 06 IS350

IS350 - looks, handling (it's ~500# lighter), interior, paddle shifters, fuel economy, overall quality/reliability, more upscale brand, 0-60 (5.2 v. 5.8) and 1/4 mi. (13.7 v. 14.3), 6spd. tranny (vs. 5spd.)
Charger - price (IS350s are about $5k-$10k+ more), interior space
Niether company is American (DCX is German, after all), and the Charger is built/assembled in Ontario, Canada, and the IS in Japan, so let's not start the "American car" chats.
Of course, neither have an MT, so they both are out in my book.

Well .... Charger hwy fuel economy is 27 vs 28 for IS. "fully loaded" RT is about 38, IS w/o nav ~ 38, w/ ~ 40. So there is not much difference there .... I didn't know the IS "outperformed the charger though
I guess the two are more similar than I thought .....

Between the two, the Lexus, but I really don't like either. I hate the Charger - more than anything I hate that Chrysler brought back the Legendary Charger nameplate as a four door. That really pisses me off.
And as posted above, the old IS300 was a much better looking car. They both suck in my book, so you might as well buy the one with the nicer interior, less likelyhood of mechanical problems, better dealer servicee, and the more sound economic investment - the IS.

I am surprised that people think the IS300 looks better than the IS350!
IMO, the 300 looked very cheap from the outside, especially those lame rear lights.
