Ok, I have a question regarding the X-Plan pin. I'm getting the Stang under my dad's name due to financing and insurance reasons. So my question is when I request the X-Plan, should I get the PIN under my name or does it have to be under my dad's name? Would my dealer care whose name the PIN # was generated for?

If it is from your Dad, you can get the A plan which is better, the pin has to be from your dad's name because he has to submit the request, but the car can still be bought and registered under your name.

No, its not from my Dad. I'll be getting the PIN from a friend, but the car will be on my Dad's name. So whose name should the PIN # be generated for?

If the car is going in your dads name, the PIN must be generated in his name also.

Person whos pin is registered to name has to be on the title, so either one really. At least thats what I read on the PIN FAQ

How long must the car remain in the PIN holders name before it can be transfered? Is there a restriction at all?
