When did the last 2006 roll off the line?

When did the last 2006 roll off the line?
The date on the door of my Mustang is May 2006.
Is there a way to find the exact date that it was built?

If you also have a PDF image of your sticker, the border of the image contains a bar code and other stuff which doesn't not wind up attached to the window. If you follow the link for my window sticker, you will see a numeric blob of data in the lower right. Embedded in that number is the date when they *started* production on my car 20060718. There is another date on the sticker that you will find on the sticker on your car. In my case, it appears as 06 26 06. This is the *blended* date for the production of your car. Basically this means the date when Ford actually decided the schedule of when your car would be built. So, my car received its production schedule on 6/26. The reason there is a large gap between that and my production date is the two week vacation over July 4th. In most cases, the production is within 2-3 weeks of the blended date.

The car actually rolled off the line on 7/19. Here is another copy of the image of my window sticker...

You would have had to get it from your dealer.

The parts department or service department at your delaer can give you a printout with all of that info on it if you supply them with your vin#.

Hiya Flash,

When you asked your dealer for the PDF file, did they know what you were talking about? Know any hints I can give my dealership as to where to look on their computer system? They didn't seem to know about this ability when I called (although they said they'd poke around and try to find it on there somewheres)

Thanks,
Justin

They can also usually order a new window sticker entirely including the border you peel off(with that info on it)
