searching for a Cobra

Hey guys, I've been checking this site out for a while and so far I'm really enjoying all the info I find on here. Now for the business at hand, I'm looking for an 03-04 cobra, preferrably stock. Does anyone have an idea where I can find one, or the best way to go about doing so?

I'm not usually one to pimp out other sites, but SVT Performance's for sale/wanted area is hard to beat.

Good thought, but he said Stock. J/K it is a great site for the terminator cars, but most of them are modded and if you find a stock one it goes for all the money.

First of all Scott, thanks alot,I've been reading this forum for a few years and respect you alot among the admins, now I need everyones opinion though. After looking into svtp I'm interested in my options, how are the '96-98 cobras compared to the terminators as daily drivers. I've had a 99 ram for a while now but it was T-boned pretty bad so I had to sell it to the ins company. Now I have an opportunity to fufill one of my dreams by owning a cobra(eventually would like to own one of each of the previous mentioned), but I'm worried the 03-04 would be a bit much for my first...well, fast car lol. Any help? Feel free to flame if I'm in the wrong forum.

I daily drove my '96 mystic for 2.5 years. It was great. I had quite a few mods, including 4.10 gears and still managed on average 23mpg and on long trips, got upwards of 27mpg. Mine would also run the 1/4 in low 13's so that was pretty good for my daily driver... dang i miss it.

The 96-98 cars have a motor that is designed more for top end, so your not gonna be in your real power band during normal driving. The 03-04 is ALOT faster They make alot of power from idle up since they have a roots style supercharger. They still get decent mpg and also make great daily cars, as long as you can stay out of the throttle.

I'd love to have either one, both are great cars in thier own respect.

If you're anywhere near NJ, there is one at my local bowtie dealer. It's silver and I believe it's an '04. car looks real clean and stock. I've avoided looking at it for obvious reasons. Dealer is Patterson Chevrolet in Hamilton NJ.

I'll have to keep it in mind, even though I live in california. I have been looking for an excuse to take time off from work to travel...
