How often should you change your oil to stay within warantee? The ford website at MyFord is saying I should change at 3000, but the manual seems to suggest at every 5000. Which is right? I just want to keep my vehicle under warrantee and not have to change my oil excessively. I'm going to go synthetic so I'd think every 5000 is fine.

A lot depends on your driving habits. Dusty conditions, a lot of stop/start driving would dictate the 3000 mile interval. With synthetic under normal driving conditions, 5000 is more than adequate.
