An updated order guide is now available and posted under the sticky.

New pricing is also now available. The ONLY change I see is that the chrome exhaust tips went up $5 MSRP and $7 cost.

I'm still confused. The updated order guide says Grabber Orange Clearcoat Metallic yet the 2007 colors chart drops 'metallic' in the description and shows a non-metallic color swatch.Which one does one believe?

No more confusion. I've spoken to the higher ups and they say Grabber Orange is NOT metallic nor was it EVER going to be. Hmmm.

Here's a link to Kelly Blue book for the 2007 http://www.kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/kw.kc.n...d;Mustang;2007 Just click on the model you want and go from there.

Shopping Around for Best Price

Hey...I forgot to say thanks! I have been so busy working up my final details for my order....now, to find the best price and to try and decide between the red interior and the tan with the redfire....and I am having concerns about how the scoop of the GT app package scoop is going to look...decisions decisions....

Other than KBB and Edmunds, I haven't seen the Price Guide anywhere. Does anyone have a .pdf of the ford Price Guide (whatever the current price level is)??

I'm trying to work out a problem with my order, and the dealer wants to sell me the 64E wheels that should have been ordered on my car for $1100, instead of the $719 or whatever the xplan price is for the option. I want to be able to show them the facts from a Ford price guide, so they don't try and argue with me if I show them the same amount from KBB or Edmunds.

Thanks.

Not sure if this is old news, but the build and price on fordvehicles.com now has 07 colors, options, etc. BTW - Dove looks REALLY white (at least in the picture).

That is so wrong I'm amazed they posted it. Not only is the color WAY off, but even the color scheme is incorrect. The dove PTP interior is shown in the pic below, it's nothing like the pic on fordvehicles.com!

Also, if you look at the exterior colors for the GT500, the torch red looks like a salmon color, and the vista blue looks like a sky blue.

Forddirect lists a totally different invoice price from KBB/MSN, and very different prices from Edmunds.

I priced out my Mustang GT using Forddirect's invoice ($24,818 + options) and then applied the X-Plan formula: 0.996 * invoice + $75, and the dealer wanted $5.08 more than what I calculated. I know this isn't a big deal, but this is harder than doing my taxes since I can never calculate exactly how much I need to pay. It always ends up being slightly more due to an unknown pricing guide at the hands of the dealership.

Where can we get the dealer invoice pricing online?

Hey, Ed is back. Thanks for the thread Ed. I have had my car for two months and still have not had the kind of week you had with the Hooters girls, parade and car show win. I must be doing something wrong!
