Where to mount GoPro camera in stock GT

On previous track days I mounted the GoPro to the windshield by suction cup. Was wondering if anyone came up with an idea to mount the camera to view the windshield plus the steering wheel and shifter? (A roll cage would come in handy, but this is a daily driver.)

maybe top of rear window? maybe on the dome light if the newer models have one.

maybe see if you can build a contraption similar to the seat belt guides that clips onto the headrest posts

The new headrest mount from JLT is a slick way to mount your camera, but it is kind of pricey at $150.

The quality of your video is really nice, but that's essentially the same view that I have with the windshield suction cup mount... I wanted to get the wheel and shifter in the view if possible. Not sure if mounting the camera on the helmet would work, or what the quality of that would be? Maybe too much movement to produce a nice quality video?

I had one of the GoPro adhesive mounts at the top center of the rear window and it captured the interior really well. I also had one mounted right under the rear view mirror mount, as the adhesive mounts don't have any vibration issues like the suction cup sometimes does.

I "know" the guy in the video and he mounted it just behind his emblem.

Thanks for the link to the JRT camera mount. A bit pricey , maybe, but great idea and should work well especially mounted to the passenger seat.
