Finally got out to the dragstrip again after my MGW shifter install. No other mods and same track/conditions. Although I did not get as lucky this time. I drove like a newbie and lost to a pinto in bracket racing. The dude in the pinto has won the event before and was .04 from a perfect run (dial in time and reaction time combined.) I was missing shifts (still getting used to the MGW) and having stupid wheel hop. Best time of the day was a 13.2 or something like that. 12s were nowhere in sight. I will upload videos to youtube soon and link them in this thread so everyone can have a good laugh. After how I drove and how the car felt I feel my next mods are control arms w/relocation brackets and a set of DRs.

 

Which track? What gears do you have?

 

3.73s and I was at Woodburn dragstrip in Woodburn, Oregon. I've always been a fan of this track.

As you can see in the video I had a myriad of problems but there is nothing bad to say about how well my Go Pro camera worked.

All that needs to be said about the go pro with a suction cup mount is that they are worth every penny.
