Whats your NASA/SCCA set up?
Prepping my foxbody for the upcoming events out here in the Northern California region. Need some tips about set ups.
Currently running a 91 GT:
B303, shorties into X with turn downs
Full adjustable suspension
373s; short throw
Slotted front rotors with the stock drums in back
Curious what class I should really compete in and what else do I need. I kno I need obvious brake and top end parts but money and bills don't mix well. pics are always appreciated! Thanks in advance

Best place to start is the rule book.
They are on-line for most road racing clubs.

As for how and where you want to play. Just go to an event. Buy a paddock pass.
Introduce your self to the guys who are already out there playing car.
Ask questions Face to face are the way to get into real racing.
I am involved in SCCA American Sedan class racing.
But there are loads of ways to get you and your Mustang on track.
Think about an open track day. As a good place to start.
You can get on track with your street car. With only a helmet as safety equipment.
Driving schools are also suggested.
Best one I have gone to is Bondurant – Trust me worth every cent spent.

As for My setup. (Not really my car. I am the team Engineer)
We are building a 2013 for American Sedan (full prep).
Using all we have learned racing our 2005.
Most of the Chassis parts will bolt on.
We have developed Penske Struts and 7500 shocks in back
A full-floating custom axle with an 8.8 center section.
Custom weld-on camber plates.
Hand made splined sway bars.
We are required to use 12” rotors in 16 x 8“Rims
Full race dual master cylinders w/ balance bar.
It has been good enough to win 6 National Championships with this kind of set-up.
So we are wrapping it in a shinny new body.
